I HOPE THIS HELP YOU GUYS AND GIRLS OUT THERE WHO NEED RESOURCES LIKE THIS FOR PROJECTS OR RESEARCH. I NEEDED SOMETHING LIKE THIS WHEN I RECEIVED THIS PROJECT BUT UNFORTUNATELY I DIDN'T HAD ONE. HAVE FUN! XXXXX GIRL ONLINE

Jesus was believed to be born approximately 2000 years ago, between 4-6  BC, no one knows the exact date he died.  He was born in Bethlehem, his mother was Mary and his father was Joseph. According to the bible on day of his birth, a star shone brightly, it led three Wisemen and some  shepherds to the stable where he was born. Virtually, all the modern theological  scholars consider the Synoptic Gospels to be the best sources for investigating the life of Jesus. Another useful historical document is by a first century Jewish historian named Josephus. His Jewish Antiquities is one of the greatest historical document about the history of Jesus. To understand why Jesus died,  it is important to think about what was happening politically and socially to put into context what people thought and why different religious groups might have wanted to put him to death.   Jesus lived during Roman rule, who were   were said to give Jewish people a certain freedom of movement. Some ancient rabbis referred to the Messiah as the Leper Scholar.

Many groups, including the Romans are believed to want Jesus put to death, and they were several reasons why these different religious groups wanted Jesus to die. The Pharisees were mostly Jewish middle class businessmen, and therefore were in contact with the comman man, they had four main reasons why they wanted Jesus to die. The first was that Jesus healed on the Sabbath, they were upset with this because it was breaking the 4th commandment which is ‘Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.’ Second, he claimed to be sent by God and to represent God, but he was out of expectation of the Pharisees. They expected the Messiah to be a political conqueror, and not a carpenter's son from Nazareth. Third, he said that salvation was no longer just for Jews, but for all who would believe in him, even outcasts, pagans and Gentiles, this was just too much for the Jews! And lastly, because he followed sinners and they didn't like Jesus forgiving bad peoples. I think that the four reasons are connected to each other like the fact that they believe that only God can control everything, and Jesus claimed to be God and they didn’t believe him.The Sadducees were more concerned with politics than religion, wanted Jesus to die because they were unconcerned about Jesus and didn't wanted him to bring unwanted Roman attention. The other group, the Romans were the ones that killed Jesus. They killed him because the last group, which was the Roman Zealots wanted to put Jesus to death because they did not want him to be their king.

The big question about Jesus is ‘Did he think of himself as Messiah?’ Scholars have different opinions.about this. I personally think that Jesus did think of himself as Messiah because that’s why he did the special task God gave him. Passover is an important festival in the Jewish religion. It celebrates the Israelities fleeing from Egypt about 3300 years ago. The passover remind us that the Jewish were once slaves and had a hard time in Egypt. Christians believe that mankind was created specifically to have a relationship with God. They consider Jesus to be the Christ and believe that through his death and resurrection, humans can be reconciled to God and thereby are offered salvation and the promise of eternal life. Most Christians believe that Jesus was both human and divine, I believe that because he could save the world and he is the Son of God. According to the Bible, God raised him from the dead.
Some people think that Jesus was a danger. Jesus taught many important moral principles, but He also taught a dangerous claim: He said He was God. However, I do not think that Jesus was a danger, He said He was God, I think there is a slight problem here as he isn't God but there is something true and that is Jesus was the Son of God.
